What do I need to do with my hair?

How should I style my hair next?

Have you ever felt like you don’t know what to do with your natural hair? Well I am at that point once again. I don’t want to wear a puff each day. I have worn the puff on every side of my head. I just want something different. Well, I went off and began doing my hair in different styles besides the puff, but I am not getting the results that I would like. Some of the styles I am trying to do are soooo time consuming.

Styles I’ve Tried

I’ve tried Twist Outs. On the first day they look just fine, but on that second day it’s like what in the world has happened. I sleep on a satin pillow case each night and I even wear a satin bonnet.

I’ve tried the Bantu Knot Out and again it looks fine on the first day but the second day isn’t so appealing to me.

I’ve tried Two Stranded Twists but they reaaaallllly shrink. I know I could try them on dry hair but I love the smooth look of the twists when I do them wet on wet hair.

I’ve tried the Twist-N-Curl, but it doesn’t last very long for me. I would like something that will last at least 3 to 4 days and look awesome.

I must say that my Twists Set on the Flexi-rods did well, but it is very time consuming. I will probably do this about once every six weeks.

My Possible Solutions

~ I usually don’t re-twist at night but I will try doing this with the twists and the bantu knots
~ Twist dry hair using a hair butter instead of a wet product

Does anyone have any suggestions or pics? Please feel free to provide any suggestions you may have or even send me some of the different natural styles that you have rocked!

Until Next Time,
