DIY: Pencil Skirt

Hello Lovelies!
I hope that you all are enjoying the remainder of this wonderful weekend.  Recently, I have really been stepping up my sewing game.  Last year, I started off by sewing gift bags for my friends and an overlay for my praise dance ministry at church.  I began watching more and more sewing videos on YouTube and ran across Mimi G's sewing tutorial of a pencil skirt.  She has a fabulous sense of style and she is the bomb when it comes to sewing.   The pencil skirt in my picture was made in less than an hour.  If you are a beginner like me, you can do it!  Check me out!

DIY: Nail Polish Display Wall Rack Less Than $4

Hello Lovelies!!

Late last year I began a new nail polish collection which consists of different brands.  I used to store them in mini organizer trays, but since my collection has grown, I had to come up with a new storage method.  I turned to YouTube, one of my virtual best friends, Ha!   I searched for different tutorials on do it yourself nail racks.  I finally found one that I was pleased with and decided to give it a try.  In stores, the Acrylic Nail Polish Racks start around $30 for a rack that can hold at least 96 bottles of polish.  Being the crafty person that I am, I wanted to do it myself as well as save some extra MOOLAH.

The rack I made cost me less than $4!!  Yep that's right...less than 4 bucks.   It holds 90+ bottles of nail polish and it is very sturdy.  Check it out below and let me know what you think!

P.S.  I might have to make another one because the collection is still growing.
