Happy work it out Wednesday!!
I began another round of the Classic version of P90x on January 4th. This program is composed of 3 phases which equates to a complete round and I am excited to say that I have completed phase 1!!! I hit day 30 of the program on yesterday and I see results! I took my 30 day pictures but I don't plan on showing the progress pictures until I complete this entire round of P90x.
I am trying my best to follow the nutrition guide as close as I possibly can in order to give this program a fair try. I've completed 2 complete rounds of this program already, but I did not follow the nutrition guide. Although I saw results each time, I didn't see as many results as I could have had I followed the entire program thoroughly.
I have to be honest in saying that it takes discipline in order to do this program. Each of the exercises are at least 54 minutes long. This includes 5-6 minutes of warming up and approximately a 5 minute cool down. There are days that I don't feel like doing the exercise for that day, but I make myself go ahead and do it. Afterwards I am always glad that I did.
Feel free to share your results or experiences with P90x if you have any.

P90X Update!
P90x has done my body good thus far. I am currently on day 38 and I can tell the difference from when I began. It hasn’t been easy, but it has been well worth it. I have currently lost 3% of my body fat but my weight tends to fluctuate which is fine. The reason why I am saying that the fluctuation of my weight is fine is because the workout plan that I am on is constructing my body to lose body fat and gain muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat. I am more focused on losing the body fat and inches rather than the weight. And no, I'm not trying to get all ripped and hard LOL! I just want to tone up. Once I get to day 60, I might be brave enough to post my progress pics…. I don’t know about that yet.If you have started P90X or a different workout program, let me know how you are doing! Even if you are thinking about starting P90X, let me know if you have any questions and I will try to answer them from my experience with the program.

P90x and Hair Status
Ok Ok Ok. I know I have been MIA for about a week now, but I am back with updates on my P90x workouts and my hair!
So far so good! I am on day 5 now and I can feel the burn!! Not the burn as in what the perm used to do but the physical burn of working out. I love it. I can say that P90x is a little bit of a challenge but I will prevail!! Today I will be working on my legs and back and those are my favorites to do.
I feel great and I can tell that my metabolism in in high gear. I make sure to include my healthy snacks and all into my nutrition regimen. They lay it all out for you.
As far as my hair goes, well I have been wearing a Chunky Twist out. What I mean is that I co-washed and Deep Conditioned my hair on Sunday then I applied ABBA Pure Gentle along with Karen's Body Beautiful Hair Milk that I purchased at our Houston meet and greet last month. I am loving the results.

I just grabbed a chunk of coils and twisted them. I had about 8 or 9 twists. Then I let it airdry overnight and in the morning I took the twists down and applied KBB Hair Milk to my hair and donned an ouchless headband. I pushed the headband to the back about halfway on my head and then slid it back to the front about half of an inch creating a hump. I applied gel to the front to kind of smooth it down.
I have been wearing this for four days without rewetting it and it has been doing well. It's very low maintenace and looks great!
Also, it stays coily and not frizzy.

P90x Here I Come!

I have been scoping out P90x for about 2 years and I finally decided to buy it. I received it in the mail on yesterday and I am going to do the Fit Test tonight. I am so excited!! I will be keeping you all posted on my progress.
I am shooting for the toned and slightly defined look. I am not going for bulk.
On the hair tip, I don’t have to worry about sweating out my perm and all that business!! Natural is the way to be for me!
